We meet at Juanita Community Club: 13027 - 100th Ave. NE, Kirkland, WA 98034
Our meetings are held the 3rd Friday of the month except July and August.
We start at 7:00 p.m. with a program for the young members of the club as well as snacks and social time. At about 7:30 p.m. the adults start their program. We discuss club events, current projects, and share news and topics of interest. January through June there is usually a program relating to the science or art of rocks. September through December we hold various rock themed fun events including Bingo and a holiday gift exchange. Following the program, we have time for show and tell, raffle off cool stuff and hold a door prize drawing.
Not a member yet? Feel free to come to a meeting to see what the club is like. Then fill out a membership application and provide your membership fee on your second meeting.

Jeanie and Olivia will talk about the Geology behind the large fossil concretions in Western South Dakota as well as the process used to extract Ammonite fossils and prepare them for display. They'll bring some examples they collected on previous tours with Don and Karly Litchfield from The Naughty Nautilus.
